  • A vast collection of scars, including: flogging scars covering a large portion of his back (evidently an often repeated injury), burns and laceration scars on his wrists, ankles and neck, implement scars in his lower abdomen, derogatory words such as 'Cunt' (on his right rib), 'Faggot' (Inner left thigh), 'Son of a Bitch' (chest) and more are carved into his skin.

  • Even more tattoos, some of which are used to cover up his scars. The most notable include a number of bird tattoos (neck, hand), a skull, 'Mischief' along his knuckles, 'Reckless' along his lower abdomen and 'Heartbreaker' on his upper forehead. (Most of Ash Stymest's tattoos are canon, with the exception of those too specific, such as is 'London' tattoo).

PERSONALITY

whilst he's not the world's friendliest person, it is for a reason, and beneath the cold, hard exterior, there is huge heart and the same selfless boy his mother raised. but after so many years of living with his father and dealing with the many other cruelties of the world, he closed himself up to it and built wall after wall to try and keep himself safe — though this has not been entirely successful.

despite his aggression and more violent and crude demeanor, once you get to know him, even just a little bit, he is a good-humored and pleasant young man. although you might expect his friends to be few and far between, and his is by no means overwhelmingly popular, but he's personable enough to have a least cordial relationships with everyone. his peers often like to ensure they get along with him, and are wary of his quite notorious temper, in order to preserve their relationship with him as their primary drug dealer. he has a bit of a monopoly in the town, but he works in conjunction with some of the gangs and criminal organisations around.

despite how he is really, many still experience the self he projects on behalf of his father — the personality most suited to the Searle Heir; arrogant, snobbish and obnoxious. Joining in with the circles he's involved with, when he knows he could get in trouble for not doing so, he takes part in the mockery of less wealthy residents and students.

he is an artist, and a talented one at that, though most of the art he creates is deemed vandalism by the authorities. however, he's a very creative person, and ultimately a sensitive soul, he just hides it well.

BIOGRAPHY

Noah was born in Ravenwood, Montana, to two Irish parents. He grew up in a quieter area of town, living a life on the border of poor and comfortable, and he and his total of seven siblings were raised by his mother (Aida Delaney ) and who he believed was his biological father ( Cillian Brandon ). However, when he was quite young, it was revealed to him that this was not the case. In fact, his father was Conrí Searle — the CEO of Searle Enterprises and a world-famous billionaire. His mother had once worked for him and one night at work, Conrí had raped his mother and believing the child to be her husband's, she had kept Noah, only questioning it on the day he was born. Once informed, Conrí had arrived and agreed to stay out of his son's life, is only he at least got to name him — calling him Fáelán.

Aida changed her son's name shortly after and managed to keep Conrí away from her son until he was about ten years old when a story was released to the tabloid and gossip news exposing him as his heir and drawing media attention to him. From then on, Conrí was forced to acknowledge him as his son and demanded that he be able to spend more time with his son, in exchange for financially supporting the family.

he would often spend time appearing in public to garner sympathy for his father, and would attend events in order to trial him for the life of an heir. at thirteen, he had been attending a party hosted by his father, when an older man ( a colleague and close friend of his father's ) had taken him away to a private room where he raped and molested him.

when he was fourteen, just before he started high school, his mother, stepfather, and all of his siblings were killed in a tragic house fire.

he had been with his father, only to return when the house was completely ablaze. it was him that called the emergency services and he witnessed their bodies be retrieved from the ruins.


he was left with no home, the only surviving member of his family, and the media soon caught wind of this. Conrí was pressured into taking him in and allowing Noah to assume the role of his heir. he expected his son to abide by strict rules and regulations, influenced by Conrí's public lifestyle and catholic beliefs, in order to preserve the family's reputation — including being expected to remain in the closet and distance himself from the delinquent and criminal lifestyle he was already involved in at such a young age.
Noah did not abide by these rules, which only exacerbated his father's preexisting hatred for his son, and so began the abuse that would so define his teenage and young adult years, and the rest of his life. Conrí Searle is a sadistic man, who would find even the smallest reason to torture his son and try to completely break him. he's provided with plenty of opportunities, as his name, money, and power helps to keep Noah's criminal record clean ( despite an impressive arrest record ), but of course, he would have to find other ways to punish his son. the same went for any time his son disobeyed him

he now attends Ravenwood University, after compromising with his father who had been threatening military school until he was eighteen and wanted him to enlist, to study business and economics to prepare him for taking over the family business. neither he nor his father love the option, but he prefers it to serving in the military, and Conrí couldn't publicly appear to dislike his son to the extent he does.

MORE INFORMATION

  • he has a dog ( a newfoundland ), named Aéd. he got him when he was about ten years old, after the media started following him, for support and also to act as a guard dog. he was with Noah on the night of the fire, and so survived with him.

  • he has a pretty crippling fear of blood, to the point of panic attacks and throwing up.

  • he's a pyromaniac, a byproduct of witnessing the full force of the fire that burnt down his house and killed his family; he's a borderline serial arsonist because of it, the need to set things on fire completely overtakes him, especially when he's been drinking or is high. however, it does tend to lead to a panic attack.

  • he experiences a lot of anxiety and depressive episodes, but he's incredibly skilled at hiding it, especially by masking it with drink and drugs.

  • he speaks Irish (Gaelic) as fluently as he does English.
